The RT9492 is a comprehensive solution that integrates a 5A buck-boost battery charger and system power path management device for 2 to 4 cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer batteries. Its low impedance power path optimizes switch-mode operation efficiency, which not only reduces battery charging time and extends battery life during the discharging phase. The inclusion of an I2C serial interface allows for a wide range of charging parameters and system settings to be programmed, making the RT9492 a versatile option for various applications.The recommended junction temperature range is -40°C to 130°C, and the ambient temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
